Valid point. In a musical practice setting, and for learners, it might be important to convey useful information. Major third, minor sixth, perfect fifth, "yeah, I know what your talking about..."; those are established naming conventions for hundreds of years now.

don't take this the wrong way, but I always hear guitarists say you can play this "any tuning you want as long as it's dropped" but tbh, you can play it in a standard tuning by just playing the bass parts (low E string) 2 frets down from your tabbed positions.

I will ALWAYS love this band, i will ALWAYS buy the new records as they're released...but THIS, Adam Jones, is just lazy f*cking songwriting.
